PISE COLLECTION

Mid. 2020

The PISE collection focuses on cylinders and how they can induce perceptions such as balance, mouvement, growth, etc.

The side table results from the association of three cylinders becoming gradually shorter and wider. When closed, this side table evokes an imbalance. We wonder if it is not going to fall down, like the towers we used to create with children’s toys. Fortunately, it’s not!

The vase is a continuity of the side table. In this case, the cylinders pile up almost randomly, becoming wider and wider. It imitates the shape of a bouquet that gradually flares with no specific logic. The object is meant to inspire evolution, expansion.

The cups have a reversed dynamic. The conjunction of the cylinders lowers the centre of gravity of the object. Those elements make the cups reflect comfort, warmth and tenderness.
